Chore charts can be a helpful tool. They help children build self-esteem and understand what is expected of them. The rewards needn't be monetary. In fact, one on one time for young children may be a more powerful motivator. The younger the child the closer the reward needs to be to the accomplishment. Don't expect perfection and reward improvement! |
